Mushrooms as Medicine

Event Name: Mushrooms as Medicine
Event Starts: 4th January 2023
Event Cost: FREE to Attend Online

In ancient Egypt, the pharaohs forbade commoners from eating mushrooms.

The reason was that they considered them to be “the plant of immortality”.

But they weren’t the only ancient society who knew about the incredible health-promoting and medicinal properties of mushrooms.

Many indigenous and Asian cultures have been using them for 1000’s of years, and now westerners are finally recognizing their health superpowers.

Fast-forward to today, there are thousands of edible mushroom species in the world, and about 250+ have been identified as having healing powers.

Mushrooms are jam-packed full of nutrition, downright delicious in meals, and are one of the most cost-effective superfoods in the world.

Known for their powerful immune-boosting effects, they’re also great for sharpening cognitive skills, reducing inflammation, and preventing disease.

But we’re only just finding out that mushrooms can do so much more for us.

Scientists are now discovering that they are great for cancer, heart disease, bone health, digestion, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and even addictions.

Dr. Christopher Hobbs, renown author, herbalist, and research scientist, is presenting this science in a free online event, Mushrooms as Medicine.

He is one of the world’s leading authorities in this field, being a 4th generation herbalist, and having a doctorate from UC Berkeley.

Hot new research shows that mushroom fiber is the most effective type of prebiotic fiber, helping to regulate mood, immunity, sleep, & blood circulation.

Dr. Christopher will cover this amazing new mushroom fiber, and also show you how to make your own mushroom coffee (better than popular brands).

He will also reveal how mushrooms are now a multi-billion dollar industry, with over 900 million pounds being grown commercially each year.

And they’re a sustainable source of protein and vitamins, as mushrooms need 3/4 gallon of water to grow 1 lb, versus 1,800 gallons for 1 lb of beef.

Mushrooms are a great alternative to meat, protein powders, coffee, and flavor enhancers (I’ve personally used mushroom flavors and they’re great).

But most of all, Dr. Christopher’s 1-hour event explores mushrooms as medicine, how they’re safe, inexpensive, & give extremely powerful healing.
