VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
Just this morning I had a bout of diarrhea, and it happens to us all every now and then, especially when travelling overseas.
If you do get it, one of the best herbal remedies to stop diarrhea, if not the best one in the world, is Navaratna Kalka, a paste traditionally made from nine ayurvedic herbs.
I first came across this remedy in Sri Lanka, where I combined it with honey, which is another remedy known to stop diarrhea, and I must say it worked extremely well.
This was back in my early days in Sri Lanka, and I tried a few western medicines, as I didn’t have access to anything else, and they didn’t work. Fortunately, I came across this ayurvedic preparation, and I can tell you, it’s magic for diarrhea. I’ve used it many times since and it’s worked wonders every time.
The effectiveness of Navaratna Kalka was studied on its own at the University of Colombo, where they induced diarrhea in rats with castor oil, and then tested Navaratna Kalka against a popular western medicine, Loperamide (also known as Imodium, Pepto, and Lopex) and Navaratna Kalka produced a significant reduction in diarrhea, and they found even a low dose performed far better than the western medicines. Better still, there were no toxic side effects. It’s completely safe.
On the other hand, Loperamide is known to cause rashes, itching, stomach pain, facial swelling, dizziness, vomiting, heart problems, and even death. I know which one I’ll be taking the next time I get diarrhea.

ADDITIONAL INFO
I would recommend buying and storing some navaratna kalka in your medicine cabinet, but if you don’t have it the next time diarrhea hits you, honey, vitamin c, and activated charcoal would be my next medicines of choice.
